Desc: Ocaña: Directed by Araceli Carrero, Amparo Mejías. The Andalusian artist, José Pérez Ocaña, caught fire dressed in a Cat-Sun costume as he was taking part in a parade for children. It was August 1983 in his home town. A 6-year-old girl is witness to this moment and freezes. Her life becomes intricately connected to Ocaña's: Their thirst for culture in their agricultural town, their conquest of sexual freedom, their fight against patriarchy and a sentiment of incomprehension. Atonement can only come in the shape of a reconciliation festival in the honor and manner of the artist, with their neighbors of Cantillana (Sevilla)
